The Law in Focus now also heard on Radio Soualiga

Information is an important tool for the development of a nation, reason why Foundation Focus, producer of the television program “The Law in Focus”, is very pleased to announce that Soualiga Broadcasting Corporation has joined the group of broadcasters to air the program free of charge as a service to the Community. “The Law in Focus” can now also be heard Sunday’s from 4:30-5:00 PM on Radio Soualiga, 99.9 FM.
Whether we accept it or not, telecommunication affects our lives; it influences, supports and facilitates the way we live, work, play and progress in life. Technology made it possible for the world to witness the election and inauguration of the first African-American President from the privacy of our homes; it promotes social and economic growth of a society and its people, and should be monitored. Being creative and identifying new business opportunities in the ICT industry is a must, while balanced policies and laws should be drafted by government to regulate among others competition in the industry.
New opportunities, regulations and much more are the topics of the series on telecommunication to be continued in this week’s program of “The Law in Focus” with one of our own telecom experts, attorney Peggy Ann Brandon. The public is invited to tune in, because telecom is here, and will influence and continue to influence our lives. It is not a matter of choice anymore!

Channel 15, with rebroadcasts on the Wednesdays following from 6.00 - 6.30 p.m.,
on Sundays from 4:30-5:00 Pm on Radio Soualiga 99.9 FM, on Mondays on Cable TV
Saba and Tuesdays on Cable TV Statia from 7.00 – 7.30 p.m. The program is aired
on Statia radio on Tuesdays at 12.30 noon with a repeat on Sundays at 6.00 p.m.,
and on Channel 9, MSR Cable TV on French Saint Martin. The public is encouraged to
